Every good story begins with a simple hello, a smile or the smell of warm bread. You know as well as I do that it only takes a few seconds for a love story or friendship to blossom. Life sometimes throws us a nice surprise, often when we least expect it. This is what happened to me, Sébastien Piedloup, photographer in La Brède. A simple bite of bread turned into love at first sight. Don’t see what a baguette has to do with a wedding photographer?
Let me tell you how the La Brède bakery turned my business upside down.
In 2015, I was living in Martillac. That day, like every day, I went to buy fresh bread. Bad luck or destiny already written, my usual bakery was closed. Not one to give up, I immediately looked for an open bakery. Following my GPS, I arrived at La Brède.
Although I’d passed through this little village dozens of times before, I’d never taken the time to stop. So, on that famous day in 2015, I followed the scent of freshly baked bread and discovered the Mallet bakery. With plenty of time to spare, I took advantage of the sun’s rays to stroll through the narrow streets of La Brède. A baguette, a few steps in the city and the warmth of Gironde were enough to make me love the village.
Since then, my life has changed somewhat. If I continue to buy my bread at this bakery, it’s because I’ve moved to La Brède. The town’s economic dynamism, cultural richness and village atmosphere convinced me that it was here, some fifteen kilometers from Bordeaux, that I wanted to settle. In La Brède, you’ll find everything you need to live happily:

My love for this Gascon stronghold is not only due to its bakery. In fact, it’s the village’s inhabitants and craftsmen who make La Brède such a pleasant place to live.

All these merchants are part of La Brède’s history. So, as soon as I arrived in the village, I decided to go and meet them, to discover their products and their know-how.
For several years now, I’ve been making my contribution to a dynamic village. Indeed, it was in La Brède that I decided to launch my business as a professional wedding photographer.
I have other passions in life besides local produce. One of the things I do every day is photography. I became a professional photographer through my love of images, of work well done and of sharing.

On the big day, all my energy goes into making the bride and groom happy. My aim is simple: to immortalize the most precious moments of a wedding. This way, year after year, as you go back into your memories, you’ll feel the emotions of the wedding as if you were there.

This is one of the reasons why I offer an intimate photo session for lovers. For a few moments, I invite them to move away from the group. In a bubble of love and tranquillity, they take a break. As the sun’s rays turn golden, they let their feelings flow freely. With absolute discretion, I immortalize the power of their love.
